Huge milestone for Priors Hall Park as first residents move in to new Zone 2

Urban&Civic is delighted to welcome Joe and Macie as the first residents to move in to the new Zone 2 of the Priors Hall Park development in Corby, Northamptonshire.

The couple recently moved into their new Taylor Wimpey home and were presented with a celebration hamper from U&C to mark the occasion.

Joe and Macie’s first house together is a modern three-storey, three-bedroom property to be their perfect family home ahead of the birth of their first baby, due in November.

The first residents moving onto the new phase is an important milestone for the growing community, which is already home to more than 1,650 families on its initial Zone 1.

New homes are now available to buy at Priors Hall Park across both Zone 2, located just off the new A43 roundabout and Zone 3 found via a new entrance off Gretton Road, with a wide variety of 2-5 bedroom properties from a range of housebuilders.

Taylor Wimpey currently have three show homes available to visit, with new show homes opening in September from Davidsons Homes (Zone 3) and in October from Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes (Zone 2). Bovis Homes (Zone 2) are also set to release their first homes for sale imminently, with new properties available to move into in 2024.

These are in addition to the new homes currently available on Zone 1 from Lodge Park Homes, Lovell Homes, Jelson Homes and Francis Jackson Homes, meaning house buyers will soon have at least eleven show homes to visit and even more options for homes to buy. The new phases will include a range of community facilities and public open spaces, with the first being a new play area at the new Village Green, set to open in 2024. The new green space will provide a feature within the Barratt Homes development, with new homes fronting on to the landscaped area, with timber based style similar to the ever popular play areas already found around Priors Hall Park.

Joe Lynch, one of Priors Hall Park’s newest residents, said:

“We had been interested in moving to Priors Hall Park for a while. It always looks great and it already has the shops, parks and community features all so close by. It just feels different here.

I heard the new zones were being built so we decided to have a look and we loved the house as soon as we saw it. Now we can’t wait for our new family to grow here.”

Nigel Wakefield, Development Director for Urban&Civic at Priors Hall Park, said:

“We’re delighted to be able to welcome Joe and Macie as our first residents to Zone 2. Priors Hall Park is already home to an established community that ensures residents have an inspiring setting on their doorstep and a great house to make their home.

At Priors Hall Park, buyers don’t just purchase a home; they also buy a sense of community and a way of life unlike anywhere else. That vision is already on show in the existing development and we’re looking forward to continuing this in the new phases with some exciting plans ahead.”

Priors Hall Park, led by master developer Urban&Civic, already features a host of amenities, including Priors Hall Park Primary School, Corby Business Academy, a district centre with eleven local shops and services, eight children’s play areas and an impressive amphitheatre, as well as extensive outdoor space.

Eventually, it will comprise 5,325 homes with an additional two primary schools and more formal open spaces, sports pitches and community facilities.
