Green Space

Since the concept for Priors Hall Park was conceived, our aim has been to provide beautiful open spaces for residents of all ages and interests to enjoy.

Play areas
Our eight onsite play areas provide challenging play experiences for children of all ages in a safe environment. Built from sustainable timber, the play areas feature equipment for toddlers to teens, including rope bridges, play towers, stepping logs, slides and toddler swings.

Wildlife
Running from the north to the south of the development is what we lovingly call the 'Gulley', a designated County Wildlife Site that meets with an 8-acre lake. The surrounding flora and fauna attracts many species of wildlife that you won't commonly find on your doorstep; from the Grizzled Skipper butterfly and the rare emerald damselfly to the majestic red kites above, take a walk along the 2km pathway and see what you can spot - don't forget your camera!

History
Take the dog for a walk in the gated paddock in Weldon Lakes, once home to an ancient Roman Villa and decidated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Initially excavated in 1738, and then re-excavated in the 1950’s, the details discovered showed that the Villa was occupied in the late 1st, early 2nd century. Outdoor fitness
For those wanting a more active lifestyle, we’ve partnered with Parkletic Fitness to offer a range of uniquely designed outdoor fitness equipment and a freely accessible app that offers 180 exercises for residents of all ages to use year-round.

Social
At the heart of Priors Hall Park, you'll find our amphitheatre; a beautifully manicured open space to meet friends and socialise. The amphitheatre is also used for outdoor events such as theatre shows, live bands and our ever-popular community 'Fizzy Fridays' during the summer!

Whatever your interests, there’s something for everyone at Priors Hall Park.
