Green Spaces

Discover a range of beautiful open spaces for residents of all ages and interests to enjoy

Our nature reserve and wildlife site, the 'Gulley', runs through the development, with an 8-acre lake. Walk along the 2km route and discover wildlife not commonly found on your doorstep; from grizzled skipper butterflies and rare emerald damselflies, to majestic red kites overhead.

Our eight onsite play areas provide challenging play experiences for children of all ages in a safe environment. Built from sustainable timber, the play areas feature equipment for toddlers to teens, including rope bridges, play towers, stepping logs, slides and toddler swings.

The area is home to rich Roman history, with the site of an ancient Roman Villa now dedicated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Further excavations have taken place across in zone 3 and you can discover more about Priors Hall Park's Roman history here.

For those wanting a more active lifestyle, we’ve partnered with Parkletic Fitness to offer a range of uniquely designed outdoor fitness equipment and a freely accessible app that offers 180 exercises for residents of all ages to use year-round.

At the heart of Priors Hall Park, you'll find our amphitheatre; a beautifully manicured open space to meet friends and socialise. The amphitheatre is also used for outdoor events such as theatre shows, live bands and our ever-popular community 'Fizzy Fridays' during the summer!

Education

Education is a key part of life at Priors Hall Park, providing end-to-end, community centred schooling. The vision was for children and parents to be able to walk to and from school, from within the Park. This vision is now a reality, with nurseries, primary school and secondary school all taking pride of place at the heart of the development.

Whether you need a few hours here and there or full-time childcare, your pre-schooler will be looked after in a safe, stimulating environment at the Park’s two on-site nurserie, Busy Bees and the nursery at Priors Hall - A Learning Community. Both are right next to the primary school, so you’ll have the ease of dropping off and picking up your little one at the same time as older siblings.

Designed by the Woodnewton Academy Trust, Priors Hall – A Learning Community is a co-educational primary school offering a high standard of education to children aged 4 to 11. Situated within the Town Gardens area, the two form entry school is easily accessible for all residents, while its proximity to our secondary school enables a smooth transition to ‘big school’.

Designed by award-winning British architectural design firm Foster + Partners, Corby Business Academy is home to 1,000 students and has been providing high performing secondary education for residents of Priors Hall Park and the surrounding area since opening in 2008. The academy has been designed to promote positive learning and get the very best results from its students, from year 7 through to Sixth Form.

Healthcare

In 2021, the new 66 room purpose-built and modern Priors Hall Care Home opened in the centre of the development, offering inclusive permanent and respite care with impressive facilities. As Priors Hall Park continues to grow we are also proposing to build a doctors surgery next to the District Centre, which is already home to a pharmacy and a dentist.
